Bio

Michael Andreas Haeringer was born to German parents on September 26, 2001 in Barcelona, Spain. Michael has been a great music enthusiast from early childhood. When he was four years old he began attending music classes at the Escola Luthier d'Arts Musicals and in 2007 he started taking piano lessons with the Russian pianist Gennady Dzubenko. Michael has also been taking piano, composition and singing classes at the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona since October 2010, with professor and pianist Carmen Poch among others. Additionally, he has been taking singing lessons with Ángels Miró and attending a monthly master class given by Marta Zabaleta since October 2011. In 2014 entered in ESMUC, Music University of Barcelona.

Michael Andreas gave his first public performance in 2008 at St. Gaieta Church in
Barcelona. The great success of this recital opened the doors to important concert halls
in Spain. He participated as a 7 years old in the International Music Festival in
Camprodon, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Isaac Albeniz among others. He has
performed in major cities like Madrid, Malaga, Mallorca (Spain), Toulouse (France),
Munich (Germany), Salzburg (Austria), Lucerne (Switzerland) Sao Paulo (Brasil),
Mexico Federal District FD.
In November 2010 he made his debut as a soloist with the Orchestra "Gnessin
Virtuosi" of Moscow, performing Haydn concert D major for Piano and Orchestra,
conducted by Mikhail Khokhlov. In 2011 Michael Andreas interpreted the Haydn
concert with Filarmonica de Malaga, conducted by Edmond Colomer. In late 2011 he
was invited to play this concert in Toulouse, France. In March 2012, he performed
Beethoven's concert nº 1 for Piano and Orchestra with Ensemble Orchestral Conjunt
XXI in Vilafranca.

A significant event in Michael's music career was his performance of Mozart's
concerto nº12 for Piano and Orchestra in "Grosser Saal" KKL Lucerne (Switzerland),
one of the most prestigious concert halls worldwide for
classical music, conducted by Howard Griffiths, in July 2013. In April and May 2014
Michael went on a tour across Catalonia performing Mozart concert N° 12 with Gio
orchestra. He wrote for the first time a musical piece for piano and orchestra and
performed it with great success during this tour. For the first time, at the age 13, he was
performiong in National Conservatorio de Musica, Mexico, Piano concerto nº 5
"Emperor" by Beethoven. For the first time, at the age of 13, he was performing in

Beethoven. In 2015 he played his own transcription of "El Manisero" with orchestra of
Erwin Schrott in Bayerische Staatsoper and in 2016 in the Grand Hall Wiener
Konzerthaus. In April 2016 he had his first debut in Palau de la Musica in Barcelona,
perfoming Piano concerto nº 5 "Emperor" by Beethoven. In 2017 he plays two concerts

at the Villa Senar, the private villa of Sergei Rachmaninoff. He interpreted works of
Rachmaninoff. For this concert he composed the Variations on the theme of
Rachmaninoff and Paganiny. For his extraordinary performance he received a
scholarship from the Rachmaninoff Foundation. In July 2017 he plays his compositions
and transcriptions with orchestra Am Domplatz, Cathedral of Linz (Austria), at Erwin
Schrott concert, CUBA AMIGA and then at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten (Austria). In
2018 he played a concert in Munich for Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in Commemoration
of 100 years of the composer and pianist Sophie Menter, his Grand Grandmother. Later
he was invited to play two concerts in Brazil, one of these at the Pianissimo Festival
Joinville, Brazil.
During 2008 and 2010, Michael Andreas won seven first prizes and has been a
finalist in several national and international piano competitions. In 2010, at only 8
years, he was the first prize winner at the international competition Juventuts Musicals
in Vilafranca and a second prize winner at the international piano competition Ricard
Viñes in Lleida in the under 18 age category. In 2012 he received the first prize in the
Spanish version of the American TV show America's Got Talent, and in 2013 he
received another first prize award from the TV program 'Los Increíbles' - "The
Incredibles" of Antena 3 local broadcast channel.
Michael Andreas has also been featured in TV programs, newspaper articles,
magazine interviews and radio performances broadcast and distributed worldwide.

In June 2014 he won the first prize of the music competition in Braunschweig, Jugendmusiziert Bundeswettbewerb. He also won the special prize; Europa prize!! and the first prize of piano competition of the Conservatory of Barcelona with receiving the honorary prize on June 27. Michael managed to finish the six year Conservatory course in only four years. In 2016 he received the "Young Virtuoso Award" at the Manhattan Music Competition. In 2018 Michael was the finalist of Got Talent Spain, with his own compositions of soundtracks. Michael has won the Silver Medal at the Berliner International Music Competition 2018, being the youngest pianist of this edition "at the Manhattan Music Competition".
